Rough Road Photos!
How about showing off some photos of your van on the trail driving over/through the rough stuff on your adventures?
I keep trying to photograph some of the terrain I end up driving through, but more often than not it doesn't look nearly as impressive as it felt at the time. I find it surprisingly difficult to capture the moment. And if the situation really gets panicky I completely forget to stop and grab the camera - so the best stuff never gets documented. But sometimes I do get some decent shots....
Rules: you must have succeeded in getting your van through, and it has to actually be the route to somewhere you're going, not just gratuitous rock crawling on the side.
Here are some photos to get us started...

Couldn't help myself.
And as to not be a chump, here is one of the only photos I have while driving a rough road. It's the spur section to Fort Piute while driving the Mojave road. Which I realize isn't that bad of a boulder yard but it's all I got at the moment. And like you mentioned, it seems like when the trail gets real dicey no one is thinking about a camera.

Video made me laugh - would be love to see someone post interviews with those that made the purchase - no doubt better screen time than "Ozzy & Jacks World Detour"

Well I almost always forget the camera shot when in a jam. Also it's a bit difficult to actually capture how difficult the trail really is... I always laugh how pictures make the scene look so tame. The first three pics are Shuteye Peak CA, then the Mojave trail, Laurel Lakes trail, Brewer Lake OHV, and the last three are Bald Mtn OHV, with one pic of member Calclimber doing a group run with me. Very enjoyable trips.

Great stuff Geoff and Dave! I've seen one or two of those before. Man, do I wish I had something to contribute. Maybe I should just get a Poser stand. Do they make a low model for a 2wd Transit, maybe 4-5" tall?
If Ridge shows up for this thread we'll all get schooled.

While these pictures do not show the difficult parts of the roads... The hole in the middle of my seat sure did!!!
Totally amazing to bring a small house down a Jeep trail.
I took Elephant hill into Canyon-lands for a night of camping, then after that Hurrah Pass from near Canyon Lands north to Moab.

There are plenty of folks here that quite adventurous and willing to push the envelope, but I don't think many go to the lengths that he does. It might be the biggest reason I've been hesitant to take a trip with him
The linked photo (the only way I could post the photo for some reason) was taken on Lippencot mine road in Death Valley, on the way to Race Track. It doesn't look too bad, but just to the passenger side, the drop was several hundred feet straight down and it was quite washed out there. Mrs A/T refused to go further and got out to walk.
In the third photo, I slid off the road and was quite stuck.
