Same Sh*t, Different Van

Long time lurker. Few times poster. This is only the beginning.
Until a few days ago when I kicked the third to the curb, the past twenty yrs have been dabbled with the three varieties of VW van/campers.
I've been a van owner most of my driving life. Can't imagine life without one.
Fords, Dodge, Fords, VW's, and back to Fords. Pretty much in that order.
I consider myself a pavement pounder, seeking to explore this great big 'ol country of ours. I don't need a lifted 4x4 but if one of you fine gents leaves one in the Will for me, I promise to take care of it.
Anywho, I'm back in with Ford. Have had this for five years as a tow vehicle for a pop up tent trailer. It's an eight pass peep mover by week, pseudo camper on the weekends. I'll pick up a cargo van soon and do this proper.
But for now, this is how I roll. Coupla days at the local campground. It's been a while. Felt good to stretch the bones.

Any van is good van...so I took what I could get.... and it looked at me with those big Ford eyes....and said "You aint seen nothing yet...oh babbay, you aint seen nothing yet!"

Welcome back to the Forum! Two pics are a great start! BTW. a good friend new SMB owner told us to "go local, go MORE OFTEN" so we have already been out two weekends to local CG's and it has been a BLAST! And a refreshingly SHORT drive home...lol!

Ok. One more and I'll leave it alone. I am on the prowl for a cargo van with side barn doors vs a slider. First time in history for me. Well, except for the split bus i once had had.
Happy Trails,

Happy Trails,
Most cargo-type Ford E-Series will be the hinged or barn doors on the passenger side. Personally I'm not a fan of the sliding door so this degree of common works well for me. Having cruised eBay for a long time I don't see that many with the sliding doors.
