step back in time to 1990

a year of van ownership. specs 1990 E350 XL package, 460 FI, e4od, dana 60's front and rear with leaf springs, dual tanks, arb rear locker is the good stuff, or was. Did a waterpump, major tuneup and all fluids changed and went camping about 10 times. The suspension was awful, any bump or ripple made my wife cringe. just finished a 1252 mile road trip (10.25MPG average) including a quick stop at Agile OffRoad to get a new TTB installed, by far the biggest improvement made to date.

I saw your van at Agile when I was there a few weeks ago. Actually recognized it from the previous owner who has had it on an Expo campout I was at. The RatFink sticker gave it away! He was happy to hear the van was getting some love.

Liked the look of your skinny mud terrains. Nice retro tough van that now finally rides nicely...

Did I get the dog's name right? Jesus Chewbacca Judgement Day? That's cool but he's never gonna learn to spell it.

At 86Scotty, yep, that's his name. Fortunately the French ringsport competition we train for only includes agility, obedience, and protection...
