Van Two!

Not quite an impulse buy, but close. What happens when you can’t sleep and are perusing Facebook Marketplace late at night and see a pop-top campervan for sale nearby. So now I have my 98 SMB and this “new” 2002 Pleasure-Way Traverse in my driveway. Not sure which I’ll keep. I’ve been curious to try an RB50 layout for a while now so now’s my chance! I think the rear penthouse lift actuators are bad.

Yeah, I definitely like the full-lift SMB PH design, at least for our walk-through SMB. On a “50” layout, though, the V-top is fine. Just a little less sleeping room upstairs. But the Pleasure-Way low profile top is NICE when it’s down! You can barely even tell it’s there. Very stealth.

Something is awry in the universe when I have two campervans in my driveway and 86Scotty doesn't have any!

Someone needs to start a support group for folks with a van addiction problem. "Hi, my name is Brian, and I'm a van-a-holic."
