It also has a porta potty in the back corner which is actually usable while moving (if you dare).. and there's a pantry next to the couch. Also, instead of a closet to hang your jackets (we found useless, you use it once and toss it on the couch.. now that cabinet has nothing in it).. this one has shelves where we keep bedding, towels, and clothing.

Unmolested dash. Cloth captain chairs instead of leather, which im fine with for a off-road rig. They actually have the lumbar pumps though which is nice.

So because our last SMB had a fridge right behind the driver seat, you couldn't turn it. With the couch where it is, now you can.
Another thing i liked is that the heater is upfront under the gaucho instead of buried in the back of the van. Which i like because when you come in and out of the cold it blows hot air towards the door keeping it warmer inside and cold out. That and it doesn't have to have vent lines running all over the place. That and it's easy to work on if need be. Also, it seems that heat rises up to the person sleeping in the penthouse faster this way. We used it two nights in a row last weekend in 30 degree weather and it did great.

With the massive fridge, you can another shelf when the top is deployed. By the way, this past trip we fit a bottle of vodka, a bottle of honey jack in the freezer. Then a bottle of wine in the fridge portion, along with tonic, beer, soda, bagels.. i mean the thing is huge.
