Re: Who'll show me their xB50 in Seattle?

There are times I wish I had an RB but it's not just the space inside, the space under the van can be something to think about. Size of the propane tank, how many house batteries do you want, room for an air compressor and stuff like that. I have the Starcool compressor that hogs a lot of space, something you can't get anymore but if you do want the Danhard air, it takes up room under the van as well. I can see that if you go lite and limited plus plan to crawl a bit with it, the RB is worth looking at. I've done some fairly aggressive trails with my EB and anything rated higher kind of scares me. It's gonna cost you big bucks to extricate an RB or EB out of the backcountry and even if you have another rig there to help you out most vans a heavy. Its not quite like having your buddy drag your Jeep out.

Re: Who'll show me their xB50 in Seattle?

BogusBlake -- I'll PM you, but you're totally welcome to check out my RB50 here in Seattle.

I'm pretty good at getting it into regular parking spaces, but I'm not sure I'd want to do so all the time as an everyday vehicle. It's not nearly as relaxing as driving a car, especially in urban environments.

View from the back seat isn't great, with the standard window and cabinet configuration.

There are lots of RB vs EB discussions here on the forum if you search. All depends on how much stuff you want to carry, and what kind of driving you want to do. I'm still glad I went RB.
