Boywonder.

Just had a reply from Catherine this morning, that the dash is fiberglass with vynal coating that has been vacumn bonded.

They expect to have the first start by the end of this week.

Cheers Doug

G'day.

I watch every post of your Cummins project.

Got an email from Ken who handles the paper trail for the importation, Australian Design Rule compliance and the State Registration, regarding Electrical & Optical Laboratory checking that these fittings will all comply to Australian standards. Testing is about to begin with items shipped to Queensland and what modifications may be required. The seat belt fabric and clasps have to be checked and approved as well, because this vehicle type has not been imported to Australia before.

It's complicated. Doug

Maybe Doug will fly you over to convert his rig. You could bring a Cummins as a carry-on, right?

Hi. If you brought a one-off/first time vehicle from Europe or Australia, it would be tested to comply with US regulations as well, if it was to stay permanently in the US.
