Congrats!!!

That's the neat thing about desert/SCORE racing, there's so many variables. You never know what's gonna happen.

Re: 2015 Baja 500 - June 6th

Ramsey, I missed you down there!

I was on bike 19X (open pro). I got on the bike at RM145 in 2nd place overall, only a couple minutes out of 1st! About 45 miles in, I crashed hard at 65-70mph (over the bars). Jacked up my kidney, hurt my wrist and shoulder pretty good.

After that I rode like I needed to get to a hospital, and fast! I stayed in 2nd for the next 55 miles to the next pit, and got a replacement rider (my teammate Scott Myers) to finish my stint. He had to replace the exhaust, subframe, and both wheels before he took off.

While in the pits for 20 something minutes, we got passed by 5 or 6 bikes. But Scott is really fast and had us back in 2nd by the time he handed the bike off at Valley T. That's where our money guy got on and he did a great job of only letting 3 guys back by us.

We finished 5th overall! I haven't gotten out of bed much since!

Waiting for the bike...

Just leaving the pit for my 200 mile stint.

Shortly after I shit the bed! Notice the rear fender doing its best Bruce Jenner impersonation (#tucked). The exhaust fell off right away.

The team at the finish.

The damage.

Good times! Lol

Ah, Ridge, I know who you are. But if you're still in bed I guess you won't be rally training up in Reno next weekend with us.

No sir! I have to be at an Ultra 4 race in Indiana next weekend. Not looking forward to the drive.

And who are you? Lol

Is it something Quinn is doing?

Was crew chief on a little race you're working towards for a few years a few years back. PMed you more details.

Reno not run by Quinn, but sometimes he shows up for kicks.

Ridge is one crazy sob that makes us mortals just look in aw like a wheelie across a train trestle that curves with holes and a cross wind.

Chris,

Something about "age" and "cage" - don't remember the exact saying.

Sorry I missed you down there. We ended up 4th in Class 10.
