3 days 2 hotsprings

Nothing like starting the new year in style! So with a buddy of mine in his Patrol we decided to hit a few hotsprings just a few hours north of Whistler, BC.

I knew we'd hit good snow but didn't expect over 2 feet of it, made for a white knuckle experience driving a 10,000 lbs van up a narrow trail! But we made it without getting stuck, impressive! Along the way we came across some gorgeous sceneries and some very icy roads! Anyway, here's a few pictures. No live hotsprings pictures as they weren't appropriate on a public forum

You can tell there was plenty of snow to drag. But running 20psi, a rear locker and a tight front diff matched to Agile's amazing 4x4 it was a fun day to say the least!

One of the hotsprings

Temperature hovering around 0 to -5 °F we made sure our freshly cut fir would give all the heat needed for the evening.

Funny part is with this weather all the food and drinks in the fridge stayed "warmer" than what we left in the cabinets. Lol

Nice drive out!

Cheers
David

That looks great. I've experienced the food in the fridge being warmer than in the cabinets too. Where did you go, Harrison lake area?

Yes, the shot of the spring is Sloquet. We also went to Alice Well in the same area. And that trip moved to the top my project to finish my Espar!!!

Thanks again for the good comments! Here's a few shots but I didn't take as many as I could have, my phone battery kept draining in that cold weather! Lol

Here's the trail to access the spring... Deep!

And don't listen to me when I tell you "back up, a bit more, almost there!" for a picture by an evergreen tree. Love to trick friends into sink hole, Hahaha!

All safe a good for that Patrol buddy

Cheers

The last time I was there, the party was raging well into the night. Loud music, huge camp fires, and lots of happy people despite the heavy rain.

Yeah but people are like mosquitos, bring the cold and most disappear! But I've been there during big parties, not my thing that's why I usually go weekdays. Nice place regardless!

Cheers
