Jeffrey, have you given any thought to organizing/arranging group dinners?

Usually when I camp with my friends I supply biscuits and gravy for breakfast one day and gumbo one night for dinner. I can volunteer both of these dishes for 12 people. I can also bring 10 premium Filet Mignon cutlets (12oz) and will be grilling for myself at least one night

You know, now that I've brought it up, it sounds like I've started the process, let me know how much help you need organizing the remainder, if any.

Buji, I sure appreciate the offer.

Being a veg, I usually just feed myself while everyone else is farting around with all the BBQ's and other endless equipment required to eat meat. So, clearly, that is not my area of expertise. If you want to coordinate dinners, I'd be delighted, and would still contribute to any expenses incurred.

Tofu, anyone?

Yup, tofu no bread for me. I'm planning to be an island unto myself what with the veggie thing and the gluten/wheat allergy. But everybody else is welcome to pitch or group!

I've been intently watching this trip develop, w/ hopes that I can attend. I even have the kid (11 y/old boy) and dog (yellow lab) to accompany me. That being said, it's quite a LONG drive (29 hours). I'm still holding out hope though...

Hats off to Jeffrey and everyone else contributing for putting this together. I hope to meet all of you in January.

Sean

Unfortunately I have to travel on business that week. Won't be home till late Friday night. Have fun without me and hopefully I'll be exploring that area in Feb.

Jeffrey, You should be able to see this but I can't see the page without my computer loging me in. It's Expeditionportal forum. Lots of good content. This is a group DV trip the weekend following the one your organizing. Lots of Land Rovers and Toyota folks.
