Bummer, I just realized the Big Bear event is on the same weekend as our Riverside Relay 4 Life event Lady Shadetree and I are committed to. I was hoping to attend this.

Anyone have a sense of the Adventure Van Expo compares with Rocky Mountain in Dillon?

Well one thing about the Gunny event is you have to pay to even set foot in the venue. AVE is free, if their planning to charge I’d want a better schedule than just a sample that they list from a former rally. But that’s just me... sounds like they’ve had great success in BC & Wa. Has anyone on here been to one of there other events? I’m gonna look into it more for CCV but may go just to scope it out & do some mtn biking & climbing at Hartman rocks.

Yeah, it's comparable to Overland Expo in price. The Gunny list is pretty healthy and it says they are planning to attend. I thought the Dillon list was slim.

You're definitely right that there are plenty of alternative "venues" around Gunnison if the main event gets old. Not located next to the interstate, either. Makes the thing more intriguing.

The Dillon event looks good, close and has camping nearby and its free for a vendor event. And did I mention its free. I'll buy stuff there, just to support it.

Sorry MSD, already have camper top. But have used CCV this year a lot.

I doesn’t matter to me what pop top or high top is on someone’s van... if the come by when we are at Dillion or Gunny. We’ll have something on the grill & something to drink. If you show up & pop your CCV to pop top you’ll get a little extra swag
