It all depends on the officer you get, you may get one question or many, you just never know.

No different than our own Customs or TSA I bet.
But seriously, take 'The Bieb' back. Please. Next thing you know, we'll have the (ex?) Mayor of Ontario Rob Ford down here too.

Re: Alaska 2014
To continue the report on our journey to Alaska, the problems that mysteriously appeared on our Sprinter went away just as mysteriously, although I think our Ultragauge was involved. Yesterday we drove into Waterton Lakes NP and spent the night at Crandell Campground in a very nice secluded site, L11, near the river with a grand view of a meadow below the mountains.
I am working on a blog of our trip here. Check the blog for more in the next hours and days. Here is a photo of the Prince of Wales Hotel in Waterton.

Not sure if any are aware of the history of HWY 16 into Prince Rupert, but here's an article we came across

Re: Alaska 2014
Rick, Mike, and others,
We have traveled the Ice Fields Parkway and posted lots of photos and descriptions in our blog. The first photo below is the firewood supply at Tunnel Mountain Campground in Banff.

Re: Alaska 2014
Looks nice! Almost all packed up for our departure tomorrow, not easy preparing and getting everything to fit even with our trailer for 2 months on the road, did it once before to Baja but had a 30ft cruise America rental to spread out our stuff, plus 3 big dogs!
Anyway, Alex came across this article, hope it doesn't impact our plans! Safe travels everyone!

Alaska 2014
In Prince George now, at blue cedars CG, on our way up we stopped at Waterton lakes, banff and jasper, Amazing sights! Tunnel mountain CG at banff had some of the nicest bathrooms I've seen. Saw a few bear, a moose with her baby and lots of bighorn in Waterton
Crappy wi-fi, photos won't load....
Try again...
Mike-any updates on your van?

Re: Alaska 2014
I talked to the shop on Tuesday, and the van will be ready before I get back to California next week. The price will hurt, but I really miss my SMB! Tent camping is more tolerable, SMB camping is more enjoyable.

Re: Alaska 2014
Mike,
Janet and I met with Rick, Alex, and Lake on the ferry from Ketchikan to Wrangell on Saturday. We are looking forward to you joining us soon and hearing about your engine troubles. Tonight Janet and I are at a great camping spot above Wrangell. Our blog is all up to date as of yesterday. It has rained since we arrived but we are getting used to it. We are watching the clouds move across the mountains across the bay from us and the fishing vessels going by. Wish you were here.
David
