Sounds like you had fun. Also looks like a horrible place to camp during a wind storm. Better take your goggles.

Re: Anza Borego TR 02-05 Nov 2012

I'd like to, but I have a class to attend on that Saturday. We are also in the process of trying to sell our home and get ready to move to an as-yet unidentified location. When I told my wife about the Meet and Greet in December she said "You're not going, are you?" When I told her I'd like to she gave me the evil-eye and reminded me of all of my responsibilities at home and said I should focus on generating business for my consulting company. After 39 years of marriage I've learned to give in to the evil eye. So, I very much doubt I will be there unless money from heaven drops in my lap.

As for your Lovely and Fetching Wife:

How to Avoid the Evil Eye

The "evil eye" is an ancient concept that exists in nearly every culture throughout the world. The evil eye can take the form of a brief glance or a stare, and it can cause great misfortune to the recipient. Jewish sages say the evil eye can also deaden the soul of the one who gives it. Since the evil eye can be given unintentionally, it is important to be aware of its potential

Wear an amulet.

Judge others favorably

Behave modestly

and the best one!!!

Remove yourself from the situation (preferably at a MnG :)

The 20L Scepters are great, but they can get a bit heavy to move and pour from, and they can be a bit awkward to store. I actually like form-factor of the 10L's better.
