Re: Anza Borrego over New years (Was Mojave)
It dries out very quickly, within 24 hours. Only dangerous during rain storms.

I have to ask... If they had been swept away and died, would that have been God blessing them and his will or their stupidity?

Robb, sorry dude, that aiin't nuttin'. Got me two of these, had them in me for a year and half. Courtesy of a day when I still had hair. No it was not a convertible Z, this was after they cut the top off. It was a life changing event to, very humbly, say the least. Please be careful out there.

Nope. That plate is an FDA class 3 implantable device, single use only.

Got room for one more? I was planning on heading down the 31st and do not need to head home until Sunday.

Re: Anza Borrego over New years (Was Mojave)
TexGx there is always room for 1 more. Based on recent posts you will need a piece of titanium recently removed from your person to be considered for the front row. If you need the cords pm me and I'll attach them.

Re: Anza Borrego over New years (Was Mojave)
The road to Olla Wash is in good shape with no boulder fields to bump over. The road is washboardy from folks driving in two wheel drive. Lock your hubs people. I made the trip to the campsite in 45 minutes from pavement traveling at 25-30MPH. I aired down the front tires to 30lbs and the back to 35lbs which helped smooth out the ride a lot. For those not familiar with the Olla Wash turn off, it is 10.8 miles from the pavement and there is a sign. The new rig did great except for the PH top springs rattling. I posted some photos to my gallery. I plan on heading out there again next Monday Dec 29th for one night, them possibly back again January 1st.

Re: Anza Borrego over New years (Was Mojave)
Thanks BillPa1. This is good info for those not familiar with the area. Airing down not only softens the washboard but if you encounter soft sand you will move through it easier. If you don't carry a compressor don't worry...there will be many of us with them willing to air you back up. Also...I have a fix for the noisy springs...easy to do...I'll bring you what you need.
Merry Xmas everyone. See you soon.
