Re: Anza Borrego over New years (Was Mojave)
I'll be out and about in ABDSP on 12/31 and 1/1. I'll try to drop by to say howdy to everyone. Looks like the chance for rain is lessening but remains very nippy. Have fun and happy new year.

Re: Anza Borrego over New years (Was Mojave)
I will be leaving La Mesa on way to Ramona tomorrow morning Dec 29th to do some banking as soon as it opens, then off to Olla Wash. I should get out there around noon. Again, I will only be out one night, but plan on returning Thursday afernoon with my GF. Looking forward to meeting some of the members.

You can barely even see where you're going. You should clearly sell me that light bar at 50% of new and buy a much bigger one.

We are overnighting at Whitewater rest stop near Palm Springs, then plan to be at Oco Wells at noon. Just doing at night time cultural tour of the Walmart in San Bernadino

Re: Anza Borrego over New years (Was Mojave)
Cathy and I are in Lost Hills this morning. We'll probably be spending a day or so in Palm Springs and then driving in on the 31st.
We would love to meet up with someone else before we drive in. After all, we're newbies.
Give us a holler.

Re: Anza Borrego over New years (Was Mojave)
We are leaving tomorrow (Tuesday) and will be out in the early afternoon.
Bringing two marinated tri-tips for the potluck New Years Eve.
Anyone bringing a moto? (i was thinking about bringing my dual sport).
I'll bring a few Trasharoo bags too if anyone needs a new one.

Re: Anza Borrego over New years (Was Mojave)
FYI, for newbies/2WD, the road is bumpy but easy. No deep sand, nothing challenging. And Google maps will bring you right to the campsite. I think.
No service up in the canyon, but I do have service back at Fish Creek/Diablo Drop Off intersection.
