Hello. Anza-Borrego State Park is my back yard. It's a very large park. What kind of campin do ya wanna do? In a campground or wilderness? Lots to choose from.

thank u for response

we could find a place, always have (been there a few times)
but i am hoping for clear directions to a dry campsite

drive time is important to me

closest entrance is the southern one thru san diego

wilderness, dry camp, decent road in that i can do w/o 4x4

me, Ellie my 4 yo girl, and Cooper the Blind Grumpy Dog

we will not be riding quads, motos, hiking

will stay close to campsite, some small walks
volcano grill, ice cream, Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol and Playdoh ;-)

Anza-Borrego

Hello rob

Try Blair Valley. Hwy78&S2. Go about 5 miles south of Hwy78 on S2. On left just after the first Pass you go over you will see a bathroom. Pick a spot. Quiet and Peaceful. Best of all-FREE. Their are petroglyphs that even you could drive to. Their is also a campground in Shelter Valley on S2 on the right before you get to Blair Valley. These are just a thought. Like I said before Anza-Borrego has lots to choose from. Happy Campin to Ya. Oh Yea. Watch the Moon rise. SOOO COOOL!!!

Bow Willow is our favorite. It is also along S2 about 28 miles north of I-8. It costs $15 a night and lacks water but does have vault toilets, trash, wooden shade covers, fire/cooking rings, cool rock tables and benches. The entrance sign is tiny and easy to miss. GPS coordinates for entrance to Bow Willow Road are: N 32° 51.027’ W 116° 12.159’ and the entrance road is sandy/gravel. There are some nice hikes heading out of the campground.
