I met the the other members of the group that would be going to Barrancas del Cobre aka Copper Canyon in Douglas, AZ after traveling along the Arizona Mexico border. We would spend the next 16 days in Mexico. You can read the entire trip report
on my blog. I have been asked not to share my GPS tracks, so please do not ask.
IN the 16 days we traveled about 1,400 total miles with about 600 being dirt roads. The canyons that make up the area are beautiful to drive through. Some of the roads seem to go straight up or straight down.
The van acting as shade on the Rio Chinipas.
We stopped at an adventure park on the edge of the canyon.
