I know a lot of SMBer's and other less than normal people have fun there. Those pics from the dustbowl year were horrible. This is exactly the kind of environment that I bought my SMB to get away from. I never use campgrounds, either. I'll look at your pics, though, from the comfort and solitude of a high and away remote camp spot.

Ha Jeffrey - I totally get it. 99.9999999% of the time I absolutely want to get away from crowds like this, but Burning Man is something special. "less than normal people", probably. I have never met a jerk there though, and to the contrary, have met some truly fascinating people there.

Totally agree that it is not for everyone. I'll be sure to post some pictures for you next year when I'm there. This year I'm off to Canada instead for some of that solitude you speak of ...
