Death Valley starting 1-12-14

I've been up to Lookout City, but in my Land Rover, not my van. It can get pretty rough, and I would not do it alone without support vehicles and spotters.

'We just finished nearly two weeks in the park with Claude and "Viva La Vida" I can only say that it was the experience of a lifetime. We met at a secret cabin location where we spent the first night just outside the park [photo][/photo]

From there we began exploring the park the next day. The first stop was at the Black rock mine, with spectacular views of the valley below, and enormous alluvial fans that were perhaps 20 miles long.
From there we drove to the top of Owls head mountain
