Desert Rendezvous March 15th, 16th and 17th 2013

I know this is officially through Expedition Portal but there are usually a few Sportsmobiles that show up. Gooseberry, Haywoodphotomaccom, Wickedmikey and I are normally there. Great group of folks and fun to check out the variety of vehicles. Hope to round up some more Sportsmobiles this year. Glamis North KOA is a nearby option if you like hookups. Also don't miss a quick trip to Slab City!

I stopped by and spent a night at this event two years ago. For the brief time I was there, I met lots of great people and saw lots of cool gear.

I didn't have time to take a trail run, but there are plenty of interesting things to see including the bombing range just to the south. My plans are up in the air right now. But, if I'm still in the area, I will deffinately swing by!

We are going!

It will be our sons (4 months at that date) first camping trip. So we will see how things go, and most importantly how many nights we stay.
