Re: East Coast Meet and Greet

Still hard to say at this moment. Since I'm deciding to wait on my next cross country until May, BUT I am losing my mind from concrete fever, I have been contemplating a short run to Florida. If I do that, I may be away. Again, if I'm in town, I'll definitely head up there for the day. May be too cold to overnight for me without shore power.

Wimp! Just buy some red long-winter-underwear with the butt flap in the back and you'll be fine.

Re: East Coast Meet and Greet

I did a test today and it held the heat pretty well. My massive insulating project is bearing fruit. We shall see.

Of course, if it comes down to a week in the van in FLA with my new girlfriend or a night on a freezing front lawn in New York State, it's a tough choice...

East Coast Meet and Greet

I will make my way over there at least for the day. Possibly overnight depending on attendance. Hey, JoeyNick, you reading this? How about you?

Re: East Coast Meet and Greet

This was the type of thing I was trying to coordinate with OEX below.

A night of camping and some training in Haddam, CT.

Give some feedback on doing something like this, if not the 22nd, maybe another time?

Re: East Coast Meet and Greet

So far it looks like MikewTV and Carl are definitely coming. Who else is going to make it? Last time we had 4 vans for an east coast meet up. We gotta beat that!
I'll PM each of you my address and phone # once you confirm.
Lets plan on Saturday being the official meet and greet. I'll have some food to grill and stuff to drink. Let me know what time works for everyone. Maybe 12 noon until ?????.

Re: East Coast Meet and Greet

Unfortunately this weekends meet up is being cancelled due to low attendance. Only MikewTV and myself were going to make it.
You guys will have to get the first annual east coast meet and greet off the ground without me since I head back out west in just under 2 weeks.

Re: East Coast Meet and Greet

My wife and I are attending the open house at OK Offroad in NJ (google it) on Saturday, May 5th.
We plan to come down on Friday and camp both that night and Saturday night at one of a few local campgrounds. We were also told we could camp at the event. Anyone interested, touch base.
