The primitive camping area at NRocks supports vans (pics below). There are several fire pits, picnic tables, and a small privy. No hookups of any kind. I'll find out how many total vehicles can fit. There are other alternatives on site as well.

This sounds great. Unless there is a last min work conflict we would love to make it out to either location.

Dogs

My wife and I typically travel with our dogs, so I reached out to NRocks and they said dogs are allowed at the tent sites and cabins. Just FYI for those that might be in a similar situation.

We are in for the meetup. We are looking forward to it! For venue, we are up for either location. We will be bringing our mountain bikes and hope to either get in a trail ride or gravel ride.

All,
At this stage, it looks like NRocks is getting the nod. For planning, please let me know how many folks would like to do the Via Ferrata, Canopy Tour, and/or the Top Roping at NRocks (www.nrocks.com). No climbing experience is necessary for the Via Ferrata. It’s a once in a lifetime excursion. Truly magical (saying that as both a one time customer who now guides there).

Prices for those experiences are listed on the website. We should qualify for a group discount.

Camping area layout will depend on total attendees. The primitive camping area can handle a good number of vans.

Do not hesitate to pm me with any questions.

We would like to sign up for the via ferrata. We have had others tell us that that is a lot of fun and we are looking forward to it.

We are also bringing mountain bikes and if anyone wants to participate in a shuttle ride to do the North Fork trail let us know. We have done it once before and would like to do it again. MTB Project has a fairly good description of the ride.
