Re: Get ready to get your BAJA on! 2/27/14 - 3/7/14
I did this trip with Jan and Ramsey in November through Gonzaga Bay and Calamajue Wash in my Sequoia. It is an epic adventure that will make you yearn for Baja again. Please count me in and I'm bringing my sister, Linda. If you haven't been to the whales, it will change your life forever. The Mama's bring the babies right up to your panga. When you look into their eyes it is a life changing experience. You won't regret this trip.

It was a little out of my comfort zone but I had 3 SMB and great friends in case I got in trouble. Didn't get stuck and had a great time. Gonna have Ramsey/AgileOffRoad.com install his world famous suspension system in my Sequoia. Hope to buy a SMB this year. It's the only way to go.

Speaking of kayaks, would an inflatable get some use on this trip? I have access to 1 or 2 and could get'em trailer

Rob, you have to admit, the Sequoia never got stuck...
Wish you were coming along on this trip also.

There will be opportunities to kayak in San Felipe, Gonzaga Bay and Bay of Los Angeles - bring your toys.

Re: Get ready to get your BAJA on! 2/27/14 - 3/7/14
We are counting down the days here can't wait to get on the road. Yoda is over at Boulder offroad getting the front axle moved forward and Don is adding a sway bar as well. So I looked at some Mexican auto insurance is there any suggestions on which company I should use? I was planning to buy online if that is the best way to go? Also we planning to stop in Mexicali as a group for the FMM form and payment?

I never had any doubts. But I rarely do. Wish I could come as well, but alas, I'm back to work. Gotta pay for my new yet to be purchased van.

I've used Baja Bound my last several trips. Prices are comparable to the others and they even have "Sportsmobile" listed for your RV type.
I've only picked up the tourist visa card at the San Ysidro (Tijuana) crossing. They completely changed the border and it is now incredibly easy to get the card. You can even pay at the same office where you pick it...imagine that.
