Exactly what I was thinking.
Sweet.

So far me and Rawdawg are down for this itinerary.

Are you familiar with those roads?

Any others interested in Plan B (no pun intended)?

Lillian and I would love to go but don't have a van anymore....can we go in our truck? We just got back from Gonzaga/Felipe a couple days ago, had a great time in our new class c and rzr.

Anyone is welcome - just have a vehicle that will get you there.

I think I just saw your van in an ad somewhere recently.

Has the need for Passports been mentioned already?

Hardly! It is well loved and well used in its new home, and looking forward to seeing Steve and Lillian again in Baja in February

We sold our gold smb to Kim and her dogs and it is now known as Dogvan! Also passports are still not required for Baja. I had heard this and tested it last Thursday, we forgot our passports and just had our driver license at the border crossing and they didn't even ask for a passport.

While Passports are not required for reentry into the USA, they are required for Air Travel. Why does this matter? If something goes wrong and you need to be flown back to the States, you will need a Passport. I always travel with mine, but usually do not produce it at the border - just use my Driver's License.

If you don't have one, you might want to get one.

My next question is kinda lame...but I need to know what cell phone service is like down there. I dont mind paying a bunch but it would be important for me to be able to get cell service every other day or so.
