Re: Gooseberry Mesa the middle to end of October ?

Nice! I've camped in that spot as well. Very central to Hidden Canyon. Or, anything else for that matter.

I think I still prefer L. Creek Mesa. Quite interesting how two sister mesas are quite a bit different in terms of riding surface. I presume because the Shinarump is a bit finer grained to the south but I digress.

Did a Double H in Sedona yesterday. I think I'm finally getting used to this 29r wagon wheel thing

Re: Gooseberry Mesa the middle to end of October ?

Ya I agree it's just the fun access spot. I like the 29 after riding a 29 plus and finding new holes ( ok it was rigid and a bouncy bike was more fun on 29. I'm looking at making it up for the Sedona bike festival but my place is rented so dam I need to camp at the group camp. Shuttles make trails fun

Oh I did ride the new trail Gander and it was a mix of both minus the real high sped parts of LC.

But then you get to ride in a Hermosa Tours van with a Quigley conversion

Is Gander the trail that goes from Windmill over to the start of the DH trail into the old townsite? Can't remember the name.

Re: Gooseberry Mesa the middle to end of October ?

What a week so far. Road all of Gooseberry, most of Littlecreek and some of the off mesa trails like Gem and Goosebumps. Now I'm on Guacamole going to have some more fun.
