Okay, I took this from the Tire and Wheel Gallery posts in the 4x4 section, so as not to hijack my own thread. BH liked my new tire and wheel combo, but it needed some experience, so we headed out for an overnighter at Carrizo Plain National Monument. We put about 100 off road miles on the truck on Saturday and only passed 3 other vehicles. Pretty isolated, but it gave us a good chance to attack some brutal washboard and a few back trails with a narrow enough double track to add some fresh desert pinstripe to the van. Not super dirty, but enough dust trailing behind us to choke a chuckwalla!

Almost perfect weather, as it was a bit windy.

Did I say, "Isolated?"

Nice Campsite in KCL Campground

How are the new KO2's working for you Skyrat? The sidewalls are advertised to be 20% stronger.
Does that translate into a stiffer ride?
