Grand Gulch Canyon AZ Strip

Some friends and I are heading to the Arizona Strip in a few weeks. Has anyone here taken their van down into Grand Gulch Canyon? Am trying to figure if I should take the route or do the 60 mile 4 hour bypass to get to Oak Grove. Found of video on the web showing the obstacle that has me concerned, .

What do you think? Would you or did you take an E350 EB through it.

That's absolutely not van territory. If you try it please be careful and video it.

Remember, the camera can never accurately show the grade of an offroad obstacle. Some of these are pretty modded and capable vehicles and still having to get towed with lots of spotters. Angry spotters at that.

Another question came up on our AZ Strip trip so I thought I would post it to the source of wisdom here on the forum.

Has anyone been on the road to Copper Mountain Mine/Parashant Point recently? We are trying to find updated information on the route.

Hmmm, yeah... At first I foolishly thought "hey, I could get through that in my RB" - but I'm sure that climb is worse in real life than it looks in the video. I wouldn't try it in an EB.

However, the vehicles in the video didn't seem to have lockers, which I do have.
