Well, I guess you could be a bad influence or a good one, all in ones point of view.

It really was a van fest out there last weekend. Good times. Couple of those pics really show how smoky it was.

Wish you had been there Jeff! I could probably sell right now, buy a 4x4 this winter, and come out ahead. Crazy van market right now. Before "Dirty" showed up in his Chevy, all the other vans were lifted 2WD vans except for Robb. motoidiot is down south for his Jeremy lift this week.

I was chatting with a good "VAN" friend the other day about this very issue in front of my girlfriend. He responded with "well, it is a better addiction than hookers and blow". My girlfriend damm near fell off her seat laughing!

Were you guys on the coastal range or in the Sierra's? It's been raining ash down here in the valley. I suspect the Sierra's around Sonora pass and Yosemite are not the place to be.
Looks like it didn't keep you from having a good time.

We were up off of Carson Pass. No ash, but definite smoke depending on the wind. Early Saturday morning it was real smokey, by sunday it was mostly clear.

But the valley was super smokey.

id say thats a good influence man. wish some of my friends would convert...but then again, most of them rarely camp anymore anyway. hell most of them have been trying to get me on a dirtbike for years and years, then when i finally decided to pick one up they have all but quit riding. i cant win.

i spent all last week on the southfork of the snake river learning how to fly fish. smoke form our fires left the air looking just like it does in your pix
