Wish I could have been there. In fact, I wish I was there now! I'm looking forward to the pics. Sounds like you guys had some great weather. Maybe next year.

I made you a campsite occupied sign just in case you made it anyway. Sorry you weren't there. Here is what you missed.

Mike (Ford_6LE_350) and I arrived on Wednesday.

View from our campsites

Ron stopped by to check on us on Thursday and to set up his rig before Friday.

Tom (Zeta) joined us on Thursday. That's his rig in the back on the right. Ron's (Betty Ford) rig is temporarily parked in the back on the left. Rionapo was boondock camping nearby. Hopefully they will add some of their boondock pictures.

Jackson Hole "Meet and Greet" June 21st thru 23rd

A friend, who calls our SMB a Herkimer Battle Jitney, sent me this lo k asking where the original one resides. Should we tell Hemmings about the M&G?

Re: Jackson Hole "Meet and Greet" June 21st thru 23rd

Just got back from the Teton Meet and Greet. Had 14 SMBs show up. A couple of them were local and just stopped by to meet everyone. I'm posting lots of pictures with names. If I get it something wrong or a name misspelled, sorry. Let me know and I can correct it.

I was the last one in on Friday night and the campfire was burning and everyone was gathered around. In attendance was Ford_6L_E350 (Mike), llamadave (Dave and Janet), JJSporty (Jeff and Janna), rionapo (Don and Joyce), REF (Rick and Alex and Lake), larrie (Larrie and Anne), 86Scotty (Eric, Christie and their son and daughter, didn't get their names, sorry), Bettyford (Ron and Sheila), Zeta (Tom), Tammy (Tammy and Dave), macmcintire (Mac and Nadine). Hope that is all correct.

Macmcintire and Zeta had to leave on Saturday but we were joined by docuprose (Nancy and Dan). They arrived later in the day. Dparkwy (Dave) and Skibradshaw (Tim and Mary Lynn) stopped by the camp site to meet everyone.

Most everyone slept in and got a late start to the day. Once up, some stayed in camp for a relaxing day and others explored. One person even did a little work. Mike and I went out with Ron and his tow truck to pull a guy out that managed to drive his pickup up on a log. We made the trip up to Shadow Mountain (not too far away) and while I was taking a few pictures, Ron hooked him up and dragged him off the log. Didn't take very long at all. I think Mike supervised.

Another late night around the campfire on Saturday night. Getting to know everyone was the highlight for me. There are great people on the Forum and many friendships were made.

Hope to see you all out on the road or at another meet and greet.

Here are a bunch of pix from the weekend. Sorry I didn't get everyone's SMB or their owners in pictures. Next time.

Re: Jackson Hole "Meet and Greet" June 21st thru 23rd

Great pictures. It looks like it was a fun M&G. One of these days maybe I'll be able to make one of these things. Until that happens never worry about posting to many pictures. I need all the images possible so I can live vicariously through your camera lens.

After looking at your images I realized I camped in that campground a few years back when I traveled through the area on my R1150GS-Adventure.
