Thanks for a great time everyone! Kristie and I really enjoyed it. We are down in Alpine tonight and have our first wifi in a week, but it will be awhile before we can post the pics we took. Looked like a great time was had by all and we look forward to doing it again!

Sorry I missed a few of you on Saturday! Glad to finally meet a few folks on the forum...hope you all enjoyed your stay here.

Too bad the views, weather, and wildlife didn't cooperate ;-)

Dude! Ain't no such thing as too many pictures.

Sherri & I are so sorry we couldn't join you all this year. Medical problems are keeping us close to home for now (when we're not in San Francisco letting the doctors practice at medicine). Next time for sure. Thanks for all the reports.

Sitting in a hotel in Spokane, Washington, watching a movie and looking through pictures. Got a few more to post and some names to update.

Dave and Janet (llamadave) at the fire on Saturday night.

From the left, Jeff and Janna (JJSporty) and Dave (Tammy).

Posted this picture last night but now I have some names to add. Eric and Kristie's (86Scotty) kids are on the left. Sera sitting and Sam standing next to dad, Eric.

Rick and Alex getting cozy by the fire.

Bettyford

Ron, thanks for getting us all together and organizing the event.

Ron (and others) - Thanks for putting this together. We had a really nice time and enjoyed meeting everyone. David and I felt at home as soon as we pulled in on Friday. We hope to be able to attend other M & Gs in the future (maybe out East?). Gros Ventre campground was a perfect spot to meet.

Jackson Hole "Meet and Greet" June 21st thru 23rd

Well we had an uneventful trip home. The van is mostly unloaded and am reading this thread with fond memories of all the great people we met and all the great layouts we saw in their vehicles. The scenery was spectacular.

A special thanks to Ron for setting up the M&G. We especially enjoyed his arranging for a moose to stop by on Saturday night.

Will post some photos in a day or two.

Re: Jackson Hole "Meet and Greet" June 21st thru 23rd

Such a bummer! We're just a few days too late. Will be in Jackson tomorrow (Thursday, June 28) as we roll through on our one-month westward-ho trip. If you're in the area and see a 98 white Ford EB 2WD with the stylin' blue upswept stripe, that's me!

We've been on the road almost two weeks now, and have yet to see another actual SMB. A few other pop-tops in Grand Canyon, but that's it. I guess everyone was at the meet and greet!

My experience exactly! 4 weeks from California to Colorado to Iowa and onto Jackson and continuing home to California and ZERO SMB's on the road. I saw the vans at the M&G, and 3 others in campgrounds, but none on the road. Must have seen 50 Westys (air-cooled, waterboxers, Eurovans) however.
