Joshua Tree and Lake Arrowhead - maiden voyage

We went for Christmas, saw a really nice Tan Sportsmobile in Joshua Tree, they waved, either Arizona tags or Utah, cant remember.

First trip with the van since I bought it. I did notice with the 4 of us and all of our camping gear, luggage, etc... the van rides a lot better. Does not seem as bouncy as it does with nothing in it.

It was cold in Josuha Tree, sleeping in the van was really cold. I think I need to get the Heater Buddy.

We then went to Lake Arrowhead and stayed in a cabin. Van drove very well in the mountains.

Very happy with how the van did on the first trip. Everything held up, a few squeaks and one loose wire but that was it. With the 4 of us in it and all of our gear I could of taken 2 more people. Impressed with the amount of room I had, how well the van drove and how comfortable we all where on the road.

I got it at Harbor Freight on sale for $40. It was useful for small things, the wheel blocks anything tall. I put my portable grill and firewood on it but it almost broke my leg. I was unloading the van standing on it and my foot then leg slipped in between the bars and I feel back. Scared me pretty good, I slowed down after that.
