Re: LA Area Auto Museums and NHRA trip

Just in case you need a diversion from vehicle related museums, I just found out that the La Brea tar pits and the associate Page Museum are located within a stone's throw of the Peterson Museum. Have never been, but I definitely need to take my son there sometime soon.

Re: LA Area Auto Museums and NHRA trip

I'm back home. I will report on the 5 museums in a different thread. Suffice to say the SoCal folks have several worthwhile auto museums to visit. All were worth the time.

1115 miles, 67.78 Gallons of diesel, $276.59 fuel cost, 16.45 mpg. Who knows how many hours I sat, stuck in horrible LA area traffic.

BroncoHauler, KTMrider, Gooseberry, BoyWonder, CellularSteve Thanks to all of you for making time to visit with me while I was in new territory.

Perhaps tomorrow I will get together some photos from and a description of each museum and post it.

I'm too tired today.

Mike

Likewise, it was great checking out your rig and asking lots of questions.
