Wet cloudy weather from Cantwell to Paxon on the 132 mile long gravel highway (avg speed 30 MPH) with lots of color on the tundra, and blueberries, mud and caribou hunters. A sunny ride home to Monday to Anchorage on the Richardson and Glenn Highways

Yes the colors were great. And no bugs! BTW 4x4 rigs can camp farther off the main road. We could have camped farther off road but all the hunters took the easy ones that weekend.
BTW I wanted to put all the photos in one report but it did the file load would limit out at 3 files. What's the secret to posting more than 3 in one report?

The first picture of the blueberries is amazing. Not to downgrade the other photos at all but down here in Oregon and Washington the blueberry bushes don't look like that.
Thanks for the post. This is the kind of stuff I was looking for when I threw out the "We need more trip reports" thread.
