Moab Meetup 2016-June 18-22

EDITED: DATE CHANGE- JUNE 18-22
Hey all, just putting it out there to see if there's interest in a Moab meet up this year. I will go ahead and reserve one of the group sites at onion creek or somewhere closer to a few trails we can access for a few rides or drives, so at least we'll have a central, easy to find spot for those that arrive late. I will most likely be bringing the KTM, and a friend or 2 may be joining, so bring your motos or bikes. Any and all are welcome, fords, sprinters, transit or promaster, 4X4 or 2WD. There's enough to see and do in the area to suit all, from easy scenic dirt roads to drive shaft busters (hope not!) to exploring Arches and Canyonlands NP. Anyway, hope to see lots of you there!

EDIT:scroll to the end of the posts to see more details

-Rick

I would also love to be there, but I'll just be getting back from an extended trip to Yellowstone with family.

Sounds like it would be fun though.

We are going to be there mid June to do the White Rim Road, but if we get back out that way, after a wedding we need to attend, I will update.

Rick,
That looks to be a hot time in Moab. At that time we should be in North Dakota heading for the UP. We should be back in Moab in October however.

Rick, we might see you there in mid June. That's right about the time we'll be headed back east from Socal. Unfortunately in August we'll be back to reality.

I'd recommend heading up to the LaSals if its early August, gets pretty dang hot in town July/Aug ~100-110*, especially if you're heading out on the moto's in full gear... awesome single track up there too.
