The trip was great! We had a bit of rain that helped keep the dust down and the traction perfect. We ended up with 8 rigs making the trail progress slower than anticipated, but all had a fun time with only one incident on Soda Lake.

Classic creek crossing picture! It looked a little deep, any issues with the other one? Glad you guys had a good time.

The only issue we found was with Soda Lake being very wet and ridiculously slippery. As far as the 2wd vans, there were no spots we encountered that needed 4wd even though the luxury would likely have been used.

In my personal van, we were able to find the limits of the suspension capabilities pretty quick trying to keep up with the quicker rigs, but I doubt many would want to go that quick. I've got my eyes on a new setup to keep our average speed closer to 35mph in the rough stuff.

I would be very willing to do this trip again if people are interested.

Coilovers, bypasses and bumps in front with bypasses and bumps in the rear. This will free up more usable and tuneable travel. Also plan to run 285-75r17 tires and beadlocks so I have more rubber to help protect against rocks.

Had a good time. Need to go back with more time and run the rest of the trail.[IMG]http://www.sportsmobileforum.com/forums/members/5011-albums495-picture30747.jpg[/IMG
Now for the rest of the story.
After spray wahing the under carriage in Barstow my starter motor has gone bad. Luckly after banging on it and trying it for an hour I got it to start to at least get home. Solinoid clicks but no starter motor turn.
Now DOA in driveway
