Alright gang, here is a spot for a
“meet and greet BBQ”.
This spot should allow for an overnight camp out if needed (giving up one of my boon docking spots), with a nice view of the bay and the city lights, and plenty of room for us to park our vans and get aquainted. Last time I was here with the misses (4-months ago), it was quiet and not a whole lot of traffic/ people.
I’m thinking we could BBQ, with each group bringing their own food or we could agree to split up the cooking chores. -Don’t feel like BBQ’ing, bring some sandwiches, or pick up some burgers in town. Heck, bring a fishing pole and eat for free.
Unless anyone has a major complaint or concern about this spot, I think it should serve us well for what we want to do. For those so inclined, I think there are tours available on the aircraft carrier moored just west of this spot.
Got a drone ya want to test fly, bring it. Have any radio controlled cars or planes, or boats, bring em! -Personal water craft too!
Im thinking
1330 hrs (1:30 pm), Sunday, February 25. -Gives any church folks time to get there after service.
