NorCal leisure GTG's?

Greetings.
I'm wondering in anyone in the Nor Cal area goes camping as a matter of Meet-n-Greet's or Get-To-Gether's ?

I try to get out once a month whether I want to or not, and hang from the Bay Area.

We tend to camp more in the fall, winter, and spring, due to smaller crowds. Plenty of tarps and shade. Usually too hot during the summer unless we head to the coast.

I'm in Livermore so Del Valle is basically the backyard. Mt Madonna near Gilroy is a nice place. I don't have a prob with manicured CG's and would also entertain some 2WD off road adventures.

I'm actually headed to Del Valle next Sun-Wed for a second shakedown run with a semi perm mock build . Tin top so ergonomics plays a part.

If anyone wants or needs to get in some quiet time, say hello, or throw rocks at the Sun, book a site.

This bring me to a coined phrase, Shout Out. I'm giving a shout out that my bud and I have two spots for early next week. If anyone wants to hang, we'll be there.

I have a Chevy van. My friend is a glamper with a tag along. We've both been part of the VW van world for close to 20 yrs, but that's over.

I don't usually bring the wife and the kids are too kewl for camping at this stage of their lives.

We don't do much. Pile of logs for the fire on one side, tasty adult beverages on the other, with a comfy chair in the middle.

aight. I said enough.

Happy trails,
