North Rim Campsite available 5/15--5/19

I have a reservation for one of the premium site at the North Rim campground for 5/15- 5/19 2019. I will not be able to keep this reservation and would like to see someone take advantage of this site. (very hard to get, I had to get up at 1am Nov 15 to make this reservation) Not too sure how we could transfer it but we can try. PM me or 805 748 1907. Someone with a senior pass is preferred.

it is site 018 on the rim.

Paul

I don’t think you are allowed to transfer NPS campsites, are you? You have to show ID when checking in usually. They started this a few years back because so many people were booking sites and selling the reservations on CL and other websites.

That would be an amazing campsite. Bummer you can’t use it. A few years back we rolled into the North Rim with no reservations, hoping to find a last minute campsite for our van. No luck, but we did snag an opening in one of the vintage cabins close to the rim, so it worked out. Good luck!

Psst, great boondock camping around there. We've never planned ahead, just explored and found a few of the best sites we've ever had.

True. I never stay in campgrounds. That's why I bought my 4x4 SMB.
