This years NWOR conflicts with my trip to Mordor so will not be attending. From Mordor will be picking up my wife and going to the Victoria for a few days. Then on to the BC Overland Rally.

Current van: 2002 Ford E350 extended body camper with Colorado Camper Van pop top and Agile Offroad 4WD conversion.
Myself and my friends Jay and Natasha have already registered to the WA one (early bird special) so we're going for sure. We also plan to go to the BC one since it's in our backyard. I need to go back to work between the 2 events so I probably won't have time to do the offroad run between the two events. Looking forward to put more faces to the names!

I have now signed up for both NW and BC Rallies for June. Any one else committed to both and plan to wonder up to BC with out going home in between? Maybe WABDR north after the event in Plain?

I will be attending both the WA and BC rallies this year. Not sure how I will connect the two events... but the general rule is the less pavement the better.
Side note: My daughter and I completed the WBDR in our van last year (south to north). 70% was easily navigable; 10% was us cutting overgrowth/tree fall out of the way; and the remaining 20% was so narrow for our rig that we called it mother natures brillo pad. With the numerous elevation changes we smoked a set of rear rotors/calipers (even though we had 70% brake pad before we started and we extensively used the Atlas t-case and 4wd low for much of the trip). There was also one section of active logging that had not seen moisture in a while. This section yielded miles of 12 plus inches of talcum powder silt (much of which found its way into our van). Many sections I would do again... but some only needed to be done once.
I'll be at the NW rally with my family. I'm a rookie to 4x4 and overlanding. I picked up my SMB the end of last year so I'm excited to see what I can do with it. I named him Marshawn btw.
