I was thinking that we could plan on meeting at the parking lot on Grand Ave. (between Hwy 1 and the guard shack) around 3:00?

24hr notice.

Meet at the dirt parking lot on the North side of Grand Ave. (between Highway 1 and the guard shack to get on the beach) tomorrow at 3pm. I'll be the guy in the lifted white 2wd 15 passenger van.

We're supposed to get some scattered rain, which will make driving in the dunes easier anyway. Not sure who all is coming, but I'll bring a bit of firewood in case the group decides to stay out after dark. Rain or shine. Be there or be square.

I’m loaded up but going to be about 30 min late due to a family commitment that’s going long, see you on the beach!

Cool

It was great seeing everybody today! It's not too often that my 7'4" tall extended body van is the little guy! We missed you out there Jin, we'll have to get together again sometime.

By the way, you guys are all bad influences, I thought I was content with my nearly bare bones van, but now there's some new wheels turning.

Though we didn't end up caraVANing through the dunes, Luke, Kyle, and myself went down the beach and inland a little way near pole 5 where we had a nice fire and some story telling. Good times.

I was still anxious to try out my freshly Agile Offroad tuned Fox's, so after our fire had mostly burned down I took the family for a quick trip through the dunes. I was impressed by the improvement that a simple, relatively inexpensive shock revalve made. I'm not gonna say that it turned into a whoop eating monster, but it certainly handles the rough far better than any van should! If you don't have shocks that are specifically valved for our heavy vans, you're missing out. Easily the biggest performance bang for the buck.

...and no rain!

'Til next time!
