Nice confluence of small river capped by a beaver sneaking past me below the surface and around the bend at dusk

The closer it got to dusk the more 4x4s came bumping by...
We passed the jeep that unloaded on the gravel bar coming down from the turn around in the dark... We did not even engage 4x4 with the lift and V10 we powered right up it! Next time some shots from the trail.

Everyone needed it after a busy and hot week! My son's girlfriend kept thanking me for the 'van adventure'. We all came home very happy

Always like camping near water. Looks like a great place.

Looks like fun!

Is that the van from Idaho that was so cheap?

Great job in getting the van out and dirty so quickly.

That place is top of the next county south, so a very close Friday evening outing. The next trip out will be a WMA (wildlife management area) about hour south and has trails. Will camp there. Need to make it soon before archery season opens- good incentive. I am not in the most spectacular part of the state, but the good close spots are mellow and quiet nice-to-have places.

YES this is my own private Idaho (van)... and we shall see how 'cheap' in the long run, right?

Thanks- Been a long hot summer and I'm really excited to have it so getting her out and dirty is a priority! Last fall was jaw-dropping beautiful in WV so looking forward to more. Also got my eye on some PA trout stream access points to arrive at late, get on water early

That's awesome, any ideas as to why it was so cheap. Have you found anything wrong with it yet or was it just a great deal?!

Nice having places nearby to visit that are as scenic as your pictures. It's getting more difficult to find on the water places to camp out here in Ca. Glad you are enjoying your van and I look forward to seeing more pictures of your local area.
Thanks
