Check out the Bike Farm and Davidson River Campground. We have been to both and they are nearby the Reeb Ranch. The Bike Farm is private and is nice. It has port-o-potties and outdoor showers. That might not be ideal for early November. Davidson River is a Pisgah Forest Service Campground. It is nice, large and has full service bathrooms with showers. You will want to check their website for availability.

Check hipcamp.com or the iOverlander app. Allstays camp and rv is another app but is more geared towards the conventional RV crowd. You'll definitely find something through one of those resources. Good luck!

Ultimate Campground app. Tons of camping in that area. Talk to Ujoint or Bbasso if you can. They live there and have tons of good spots. I've seen pics but don't know the secrets.

We will be there Thursday afternoon. Look forward to meeting everybody.

Also, I am a presenter this year at the Overland Expo. If you are going to be an Overland Experience attendee, join my class. I am teaching a class on, “How to Capture Stunning Landscape Images”.

There's usually a huge tent with lots of local craft brews available. Sounds like the forum clan may be planning their own as well so I'd assume wherever everyone circles their wagons. I'd like to know too.
