Not necessarily.. You can go super slow down the pavement until you get to the gas station, or hope some kind van owner lets you use their air.

I actually have a second one you could have, but it's pretty much for emergencys only as it's kinda small, and would probably take forever to air up four big tires. Never the less, there should be plenty of folks willing to get everyone's tires back up to pressure.

I have one too but it's just a little 50% duty cycle one from Kragen. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

OMG!!! Thank you! And if you hadn't personally invited me on the Baja-Ramsey memorial, I'd have been more demure about asking in ... since a team is only as strong as its weakest link and at the time you were helping me address a total rookie move. But there's no group I'd rather "train" with, and hang out with than this assembly of folks, a couple of whom I already know. (Ray, you and Jennifer are in, right?!?! ;-). I've gotten the distinct impression that not only are folks willing, but they're eager to help and educate us enthusiastic newbies, so thank you all for that. It means so much. I'll try to make up for my future potential neediness in other ways (brownies? beer?)

In any case, it's a heckuva lot of gas, miles and travel across non peninsular mexico to get there from FL. I feel like I need to come up with some simultaneous do-goodery to justify the carbon footprint for just getting there ;-) ... and/or take weeks off to explore on the way too/from.

Jeff, how did the delivery go? Will you be back through Seattle soon? I may leave here in a week's time.

I am in for the memorial, adventure and Baja 1000 viewing! Please keep me in the loop.

PS - I'd love to buy one of those stickers for Ramsey! Please let me know if there are any left.

The boat has been delayed by a month, so I'm headed to Victoria tomorrow. Unless your headed North, I can bring the compressor to Baja if you end up being able to make it.

Meanwhile, plans and schedules are coming together, and as soon as we get some additional input from a couple folks critical to the planning, we will firm up dates and locations for the trip, but the race is on the the 16th of November, so I expect we will head down sometime prior to that, and then stay a while after. Stay tuned for more exact dates.
