Very Cool report(s). It is great to see the humans that go with the van.
The pic of your missus and tot walking in the mud of the lake bed is a keeper... might I suggest you crop out a bunch of it on all four sides so that it brings the viewer closer ('least on a Mac iPhoto) and it'll be National-Geographic-ready

Thanks guys! I'm always inspired and envious of all the other trips too.

That's kind of the point of all this, isn't it? I want to see what everyone DOES on their adventures! Looking back on the pictures of my rock crawling days, I have hundreds of pictures of my and other trucks in various states of articulation but few pictures of all the other shenanigans that went down while hanging out on the trail or around camp. No one ever says "Man, I bet your truck had a great time!" (even though I know it did )
I won't lie though, I also love looking at pictures of vehicles on gnarly trails.

Thanks man! I gotta say, your Alaska trip report (and the Badgers website...) were the reasons I got the van bug a couple years ago.

Re: Seattle to Wyoming, 8/28/2013
Many thanks!
And thanks for publishing your families adventures too. No telling what these trip reports will inspire.
For example, I have relatives in MN that I have not seen in a very long time and over the past couple of years I had been dabbling on and off with putting together various routes from WA to MN. This TR has renewed my interest in mapping out such a trip.
