Re: Sighting Runt's Knob (don't say it)

Thanks for the pics from Maze Overlook. I was heading there last month but had such a long day of driving that I finally burned out on the way there (probably a mile from the roads end) and went back to climb up to the Flint Trail Road. I started getting a bit nervous about being alone as the road got rougher, in case I broke down. I'd be stuff on a rock within a few days. Did you climb that switchback up to the top of the mesa that heads to Hans Flat Station? Did you come in from Hite? That entire area is fabulous and very remote. I saw no one else for two days.

Can't be in a hurry anywhere in the Maze District. The drive to Maze Overlook and back was 20 miles and took over 4 hrs! If you're going to the Dollhouse, 8 miles can take six hours or more.

I went down the Flint Trail and I went up the Flint Trail.
