Well Herb, I was kinda hopeing a few off roaders were gonna hang to do some trails. Just looked at the 10 day forecast Is it really 74* down there during the day! I'll need shore power to turn on the AC.

I am towing my teardrop with my Excursion, not my Bronco, so no real wheeling for me. I plan on hanging out at camp, decompressing, and maybe taking a couple short hikes.

Re: So Cal SMB winter meet up 2012

Herb it's gettin worse. SMB has to work on my bumper and I don't think they can get me in until after the meet. Sure wish this thing was a week later. I'm really wanting to meet all the clan especially those members I can't put a face to like... uh, you! And here I talked CalClimber (Craig & Cindy) into going plus I was looking forward to seeing CellularSteve's family. We got such a great group here...I wanna go!

Dave,

Your front bumper is removable. Drop it off in Fresno and come one down. We promise not to laugh at your rig. Heck my Excursion has factory bumpers, so I'm sure not going to laugh.

I want to go but it looks like I'm going to carry toys to the toys for tots in Gorman.

That's two meets I missed.

Well you might laugh if I get a flat with no spare. Aluminess is making me a adaptor for the rear swing arm. A little more of a job due to my "old" rear bumper. I was willing to make a trip with a 285 spare running 315's but everybody says if I need it I will FU my diffs

For any of you who are undecided, the current weather forecast for Anza Borrego State Park couldn't get much better.

Sunny to partly sunny, low 70's during the day, mid 40's at night.

So Cal SMB winter meet up 2012

Plans were set so I could join the SMB fun, then I got an invite to a very close friends surprise 70th bday on Sat, can't miss it
Still contemplating rolling up early Sunday...
Btw...thanks Jacko and Robert for the grub and good times with the fam last week! Enjoyed the spot on the beach in Dana Point!
That could be a smaller SMB meet up in the near future!
