So Cal SMB winter meet up 2012

Eric aka ktm, you always have great suggestions. Your hungry valley tips were spot on.

Tapatio! You got us excited for nothing?

Dec 7-9 is the only weekend good for us sadly.

Anyone object to no facilities of fish creek or should we find a spot with at least porta potties?

So far Dec 7-9 works for us. We're up for any class of camping, from no facilities, to glamping. C'mon, we have SMBs after all, how 'roughing it' is that?

Without Digg who am I going to go into and out of a big mud puddle three times with?
Thanks again for the great ride on Sunday...

We will miss you Don and Tapatio... Maybe we can do it again in Jamuary or February...

I hope most of you that were at Hungry Valley and some others will still be able to make it...

It sounds like the 7-9th is it and at least the general area has been picked...

Thanks again to KTMRIDER for the Hungry Valley recommendation and for this trip report...I am glad you can make this one...

...Jamie

Great cause and last years turnout for SMBs was huge at the event, fun times. Potentinally pretty cold though, especially at night. Either place is fine by me.

Re: So Cal SMB winter meet up 2012

That weekend in Dec. Is our company Christmas party so I will have to pass on this trip and the weekends are pretty full during this month. I made alot of new friends at the hungry valley trip and if it is possible maybe we can meet for a day trip to Doheny State beach and do the Bon fire thing in November. Just a thought.. Robert

Here's a state run campground with pit toilets and fire rings located a few miles away from my first suggestion. There's only 6 sites so keep that in mind.

Our vote is still Anza. Never been and would love to share the experience with my fellow SMBers like someone else mentioned.

Date set for Dec 7-9, and unless anyone else objects Anza is the location. Exact campsite TBD, however lets pencil in that Fish Creek.

Sound good?

Thx for the tips Tapatio.

To bad you can't make it Rawdawg. I'm open for a day meet at Doheny or Bolsa Chica. I'm willing to collect toys from everyone and will deliver them to Toys for Tots local drop off.
