The 13th would be ideal for us, since we are leaving the 14th for a drive to Yellowstone and Canada (Maybe we can get tips from you guys). We are also about 20 minutes away from Bolsa Chica State Beach.

Well sounds like the tentative 13th Will work for most and so will the location. I say we give it till the end of this weekend for others to find this thread and then chime in and we can lock down the date/location on Monday. Sound fair?

Glad this may work out so easily! Cant wait to meet you all.

Sounds great adventureduo! Hope this works for everyone. The pic on the bottom (better pic in my album) is actually taken at Bolsa Chica on a day camping with our daughter.

Here's Bolsa Chica SB

http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=642

between Towers 17 & 18, make a immediate left upon entry and head towards the RV area. Look for SMB's!

So lets make this good to go.

September 13th, Saturday.

I will get there early in the AM and get a spot. Can't hold spots, but i can get a fire pit. Hopefully one other person can come meet us early. We are planning on staying all day into the night and bringing firewood for smores and relaxation. Also, be aware, no booze is allowed and no dogs on the beach. We'll be bringing our dog but leaving her in the SMB at night. During the day she'll be on a leash.

Post up everyone! Lets go!

Famvan5,

The easiest way to get to Bolsa, from LA, is to take the 405 Fwy South bound and exit Seal Beach Blvd. and head West (Left). Drive for about a couple of miles and make another left (south) on Pacific Coast Hwy. Bolsa Chica State Beach will be about 3 miles down PCH. Good Luck!

I posted this on the yahoo list too. Just in case there's anyone that would like to attend that's not on the forum here.
