Southeast Utah short trip

Went down to the Cedar Mesa area west of Blanding Utah a few days ago. It was sort of another shake down cruise for the SMB. We had good weather except for our last evening when the wind started to howl. Pretty common on the Colorado Plateau in the spring really. Used the 4lo on the van and was very impressed with the crawl ratio.
Of note was the fact that our 11 year old Lab, Dignan went along only 3 weeks after a front leg amputation (cancer). Seems he needed to go camping as much as we did. He made remarkable improvements during our trip!

Re: Southeast Utah short trip

Nice campsite pics. And good luck to your dog Dignan. We had a similar situation with an old black labradog, but she didn't survive the nerve cancer on her rear leg. Dogs are tough creatures, but cancer is tough to deal with in both dogs and humans.

Our current two labradogs view the Sportsmobile as a very luxurious camping kennel. Two bad they don't help out on the monthly payments.
