A huge thanks to Brian! We need to have more of these. If I could make a suggestion, I think it would b very cool to make this happen at the new location in San Clemente where they now have coffee and cars their for the last three months. Plenty of space where we could get together with 20 to 30 vans no problem.

That sounds great! Where's the San Clemente location?

I feel like we've obviously outgrown the space in Silverado. I was thinking of trying out Irvine Regional Park but San Clemente would work just fine.

I would love it if we switched to this location! Only about 5 minutes from my house.

Well I missed this one due to my transmission woes, but I hope I don't have to wait a year before there's another one. Looks like I missed a good one.

1965. First car my grandfather bought after arriving in America having had his home taken from him by the new communist/socialist Cuban Fidel Castro. My father as well lost his home since it was a duplex my grandfather built during WW II. There was no steel so he used old scrap bed frames for rebar. My fathers car was a 1948 Convertible Studebaker all his friends would rather ride in than their newer cars. Sometimes if they made a fast left turn they had to pull over and lift the left front fender to put the spring back in. He also had a 58 Chevrolet, all taken by the new regime. After 5 years saving my grandfather bought the Chevy II which has been in our family since. I have the warranty book with the embossed card used for the services and warranty with his name on it. My two sisters and I got our DMV licenses in it and I received my 1st citation in it as well. It has six $19.95 Earl Schieb paint jobs on it that all peeled causing a colorful patina! They are all of the aqua blue base but have a light difference in shade to them. The only change I have done is I bagged it so it drops to almost the frame. I fabbed all the parts so that it is reversible because I did not want to cut it up.
